Connect Bloomerang to Avid with an API key so donor, gift, and constituent data sync for Insights, Audiences, and reporting.

Create an API key in Bloomerang
- Log in to Bloomerang as an administrator.
- Click your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Select Edit My User.
- Scroll to API Keys v2.
- Enter a name for the key and click Generate.
- Copy the API key. You paste it into Avid in the next section.
Connect Bloomerang in Avid
In Avid, go to Settings. You can also open the Avid AI Integration Checklist.
Connect a CRM system:
- In the checklist, click CRM, then click Connect your CRM, or
- In Settings, open Connections, click the Add button, then choose System.
Find the Bloomerang tile and click it.
Enter your Bloomerang API Key.
Click Save.
Avid validates the connection. When successful, the connection shows in Settings → Connections.
Allow up to 24 hours for the first full data sync.
What you will see
- The Bloomerang connection appears under Settings → Connections.
- Insights and benchmarks populate after the initial sync completes.
- Avid may prompt you to review column mappings when data is ready.

If Avid reports that the API key could not connect, confirm the key is active in Bloomerang and that you copied the full key with no extra spaces.
