Use this article when
- You want frequently used audiences at the top of your default audience list.
- You want your dashboard's Audiences module to focus on favorite audiences.
Before you begin
| Access | You need access to the organization and an audience you can view. Viewers can favorite audiences. |
|---|---|
| Dashboard settings | Use a dashboard you can edit to change its Audiences module settings. |
An audience is a saved group of people. Favoriting does not change its rules or start a Pathway sync.
Favorite an audience
-
Open Manage Audiences from Pathways or Audiences, depending on your navigation.
You see the audiences available to your organization.
-
Open the audience's Actions menu and select Add to Favorites.
A filled star appears beside the audience name. Favorites move first in the default list order.
If you sort by a column, that sorting takes precedence over the default favorites-first order.
Remove a favorite
Open the same Actions menu and select Remove from Favorites. You can also click the filled star.
The star disappears. The audience remains available; removing a favorite does not archive it.
Show favorites on your dashboard
The dashboard's Audiences module shows favorite saved audiences first.
-
On a dashboard you can edit, open Module settings on the Audiences module.
You see the module's settings.
-
Turn on Favorites only, then select Done.
The module's saved audience list shows your favorites, up to its configured audience limit.
Favorites only starts off. Turn it off and select Done to include other saved audiences again.
Edna suggestions use a separate setting. A suggestion can still appear when Favorites only is on.
